Day 1

Arrive Canberra by 1pm transfer to Jindabyne via snowy mountains hydro museum. D

Day 2

Thredbo River Track + Dead Horse Gap to Rams Head South peak, Rams Head peak (1st), Rams Head North (2nd), Mt Kosciuszko (3rd), Unnamed peak on Etheridge Ridge (4th) returning to Thredbo (8 hours, 18K) B,L,D

Day 3

Begin Charlottes Pass turn on to the Main Range Track waking to Blue Lake, ascend Mt Twynam (5th), Carruthers peak (6th), Mt Northcote (7th) trekking to a basecamp near Abbott peak. (8 hours, 16K) B,L,D

Day 4

Begin at basecamp ascend Abbott Peak (8th), Mt Townsend (9th), Alice Rawson Peak (10th), returning to Charlotte’s Pass via Seamans Hut B,L,D (9 hours 19K)

Day 5

Cascade hut Brumby walk (highly likely to see Brumbies to see along the way). This walk enjoys the distant views into Victoria. The walk explores a few wooded forests before crossing Cascade Creek and then finding Cascade Hut. Park and begin near Dead Horse Gap. (8 hours 20k) BLD

Day 6

Depart Jindabyne by 9am lunch in Canberra and arrive accommodation transfer to war memorial and hike Kokoda walkway up to Mt Ainslie (1 .5 hour 4.5k). Visit memorial and attend Last Post ceremony. BLD

Day 7

Transfer to airport and departure for home. B
