Day 01

Arrival – Lima Hotel.
Upon your arrival at Lima Airport you will be picked up by our team and transferred to the Lima Hotel. The Lima Hotel is located in the Miraflores city near the airport.
Your stay in the capital will be a true pleasure.

Day 02

Lima – Cuzco Hotel
Today after breakfast we transfer to Lima Airport, it can be a morning or afternoon flight to Cuzco. Once we arrive in Cuzco Peru (Elevation 3,300m) we transfer to your hotel. After you settle in you will have time to relax at the hotel or take a tour of the ruins around the city.
Before dinner we will have a welcome briefing and gear check to make sure everyone is prepared for our adventure. That evening we will have a guided walk through Cuzco on the way to dinner and enjoy the evening lights and energy of this amazing city
Overnight “Colle del Turlo” – Macugnaga (I)

Day 03

Acclimatization day – Tours to Sacred Valley – Hotel
Sacred Valley Tour: Today we will load our tour bus and head out for the day. Our local tour guide will tell us about the sacred valley along the way. We will spend the day exploring the towns, markets and ruins scattered about the valley. This is a very colorful way to start to learn about the history and local culture of the Incas and Peruvian lifestyle

A remote and ancient footpath in the same region as the Inca Trail, yet least visited but with much more spectacular views. This trek is an excellent option for those who wish to escape the more congested routes or for those who are looking for an alternative when the traditional Inca Trail is congested. You can see the change in the different ecological floors, from subtropical areas and stunning peaks and glaciers, to reach the Lost city of the Incas, Machu Picchu.

Day 04

Cuzco – Mollepata – Soraypampa
Salkantay machu picchu trek program starts with the transfer from your hotel in Cuzco. It starts at 05:00 by bus, and we drive to Mollepata (the only town on Salkantay hike) then to Cruzpata 3200m which will take approximately 3 hours. Along a slight climb there are various plants, native birds, and a communitarian irrigation canal. Sayllapata is the place for lunch a nice look out on this Salkantay trek, after lunch we depart around 2:00 p.m in the direction to Soraypampa by climbing a trail with many levels along the Salkantay trek. We will see little settlements, flora, small wild birds and spectacular views of the Humantay snow peak (5902m) This section of the Salkantay trek takes about 4 hours where Salkantay Mountain will be visible. Please note this is the only cold camp site of the Salkantay trek, Salkantay to Machu Picchu.

Day 05

Soraypampa – Salkantay pass 4.600m – Andenes o Colpapampa
Today we will trek to mountain pass. This is the highest point of our journey. After an early start we hike up the Rio Blanco Valley. At the pass we stop to take in the views of the snow-capped peaks of the Vilcabamba Range in every direction, the south face of the Salkantay towering above us.
This day the views are stunning. take a break on the Salkantay pass. Afterwards we will enjoy lunch then descend down to our Colpapampa camp
Hiking time 7 – 8 hours. Hiking level moderate to challenging, Horseback support available for anyone who needs assistance

Day 06

Andenes – la Playa or Hot Spring
Following our long day we enjoy a leisurely breakfast. We then begin our hike downhill above the Salkantay River.
Hiking time 3-4 hours. Hiking level moderate

Day 07

La Playa – Hidroelectrica – Aguas Calientes – Hotel
After breakfast, we re-start our Salkantay hike at early morning at around 06.00 hrs if we choose the panoramic walking option it means we will have our Salkantay hike hard section, about 3.5 hrs of extreme trek takes us to summit llactapata, an inca site, this part the Salkantay hike gives us the opportunity to have a spectacular view of Machu Picchu, then a large switch-back trail takes us down to river bank, about 7 hours total walking, we will stop at the hydro electric place for lunch and take a local trail to arrive in Aguas Calientes at around 8.00 pm,
The other option of the salkantay hike on this day is to take a minivan and drive to hydro electric, to start walking a trail next to the local train tracks, it is an easy and nice walk for about 3 hours, still possible to see Machu Picchu from the back site, early arrival to Aguas Calientes and take shower and relax for the last final day. It can be full day walk or half day walk of the Salkantay

Day 08

Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Cuzco – Hotel
Wake up at around 4.30 am and bus ride to Machu Picchu (no more Salkantay hike). For a tranquil morning to spend hours in Machu Pichu where a complete guided tour is waiting for you. The visit to the Inca citadel will take approximately 2 hours. Please note that we are the only one of the few companies who uses the same tour guide for Machu Picchu. After guiding, if you got the ticket for huayna picchu Mountain you can climb up to experience an spectacular view of all of Machu Picchu, the valleys and mountains that surrounds it, visit the temple of the moon, or the fabulous Inca Bridge. In the afternoon, we meet in the town of Aguas Calientes from where we take the train back to Cuzco. Where finally our Salkantay hike ends.

Day 09

Extra Relaxation day – Hotel
This Day you can visit Cuzco marketplace, main square or you can stay in your Hotel

Day 10

Tours to Rainbow Mountains full day – Hotel
We will pick you up 5:00 am. The drive takes around 3 hours to get Pitumarca community stop for breakfast. After that we will continue to drive for 30 minutes more to Fulawasipata community where we are going to start with hike up to Rainbow mountains approx.. 3 hours On the way we will see Alpacas Llamas and traditional local houses. On the top we will have enough time for pictures then we will descend for 2 hours to the beginning of our trekking point then drive to Pitumarca for lunch then to Cuzco. Approximately 12 hours

Day 11

Cuzco – Fly Lima – connect to International flight at Home
This morning we will enjoy a hot breakfast. Last minute gift shopping is available in Cuzco, We will then prepare to catch there flight home in the morning or afternoon
